Once we saw a sign saying "Womb tour" in Japanese near Mt. Fuji. It was by a tiny hut which had a ticket booth in front of it. There was a list of admission charges but not a sign of anyone working there. Obviously it hadn't been functioning for years due to lack of tourists. We just went in to have a look. It was a volcanic cave formed when big trees were covered with lava. They then disintegrated, leaving a maze-like interior. They used to use the word "womb" to describe mystic things in the old days. Anyway the combination of the images of trees, lava and the word "womb" makes me think of ancient religion in an intangible way.
