GAO Xia (Mr.)

Born in 1945. Calligrapher/painter.
Curator/researcher/professor, Shaanxi Provincial Museum, 
Xi'an Bei Lin Laboratory. 
Graduated Xi'an Art School in 1964. Working since at Xi'an Bei Lin 
Laboratory specializing in Han/Tang dynasty wall paintings, ancient 
Chinese paintings and calligraphy. His contemporary calligraphic works
have been exhibited and are in collections around the world. He has 
visited Japan nine times, and has many Japanese painter/calligrapher 
colleagues and friends. He has published numerous books and collections of his works.
